Carol Ashburn - Director, Marketing

Carol Ashburn

Carol Ashburn is the Director of Marketing for our Transportation Group here at HighJump. During her 18 year tenure with the company, this seasoned member of our Marketing Team has become known as an innovative, intuitive Marketer who seeks to understand the "who" as much as the "why". 

Ashburn is a firm believer in placing oneself squarely in the shoes of the customer. Her core principals include active learning, building the customer experience one block at a time, and earning brand loyalty by maintaining a level of intimacy even while marketing on a large scale.

Carol graduated from Eastern Connecticut State University with a B.S. degree in Communications, Magna Cum Laude. Prior to joining HighJump, she worked with Jacobs & Prosek Public Relations in Stratford, CT handling both regional and national accounts. Carol is a certified Kripalu Yoga Teacher and serves on the Marketing Committee at her church.

Carol lives in Northwest Connecticut with her husband Bill, stepson Will (22) and stepdaughter Raechel (19), as well as Miles an overly affectionate Airedale Terrier, and Maggie Mae a curmudgeonly Boston Terrier. She enjoys cooking, finding the best deal on anything, and good wine, (always red).

Jeanne Clizbe – Director, Marketing Operations & Strategy, TrueCommerce

Jeanne Clizbe

As Director of Marketing Operations & Strategy for the TrueCommerce business unit, Jeanne is responsible for providing strategic direction across marketing functions to drive lead generation and revenue as well as building and executing operational strategies to increase the productivity and predictability of marketing programs, processes, and systems.

Prior to joining TrueCommerce, she spent over 15 years in a variety of marketing roles, representing some of the world’s premier brands including Microsoft, Hitachi and Accenture. At Microsoft she spearheaded integrated marketing programs across multiple business units, delivering a pipeline of offerings that influenced a $1B business. As Consumer Marketing Manager for MSN she pioneered innovative marketing programs for the launch of Microsoft’s first online arts and entertainment guide in Washington DC. In her first role with the company she helped to design a structured sales cycle model which became the foundation of a new integrated sales & marketing strategy, and managed executive level presentations by Bill Gates and Steve Ballmer. She received recognition for many of her contributions including the Microsoft Circle of Excellence Gold Club Award, Most Creative Execution Award and Marketing Specialist of the Year.

Amy Harvey – Vice President, Professional Services, TrueCommerce

Amy Harvey

Amy Harvey has over 15 years of professional services, customer support, and product development leadership experience across a wide range of high tech software companies including supply chain, electronic payment, and healthcare IT. In her current role as VP Professional Services for HighJump TrueCommerce, she is responsible for overall customer success including implementation services, customer support, and trading partner services. She is committed to helping TrueCommerce customers accelerate their growth by simplifying their commerce business. Amy holds a bachelor’s degree from Duquesne University and a Master’s degree in Systems Engineering from Western International University.

Joanne Gulnac – General Manager, PROFITsystems

Joanne Gulnac

Joanne Gulnac is the General Manager of our Retail Business Software division of PROFITsystems. PROFITsystems is the leading provider of Retail Inventory and Point of Sale Software for Home Goods Retailers. Joanne is responsible for all facets of the business from managing new client acquisitions to client retention to industry specific Performance Groups; however she enjoys working directly with clients and helping them achieve their business goals the most. Prior to joining PROFITsystems in 2000, Joanne worked in Retail Store Management. 

Kim Manzone – Sales Implementation Lead

Kim Manzone

Kim Manzone has been with HighJump for over 12 years starting out as an instructor for the Prophesy Dispatch series software products. Recently, she was promoted to lead the SaaS Implementation team for HighJump TMS and related cloud products. Kim works remotely from a home office in Tucson, Arizona.

Guadalupe Pagalday – Director, Product Marketing

Guadalupe Pagalday

Guadalupe Pagalday is HighJump’s Director of Product Marketing. For the last three years, she has focused on a variety of solutions that help distributors, manufacturers, retailers, and 3PLs streamline their supply chain, including HighJump’s warehouse and retail management systems. Guadalupe is extremely passionate about how technology enables organizations to become more nimble and compete in today’s dynamic market.

Miriam Vella – Director, Professional Services

Miriam Vella

Miriam Vella has been with HighJump for 16 years. She came to the Hartford office with a background in Implementing Accounting Software. She started at the Hartford Office as an Instructor for the Prophesy Product. She was promoted to Training Manager and in 2014 was promoted again as Director of Professional Services managing the Support Department as well as the Implementation Department. She continues to be active as an instructor.

Kait Vinson – Director, Corporate Marketing

Kait Vinson

Kait Vinson has been with HighJump over 5 years, working in all areas of marketing including, website management, communications, branding, product marketing, and digital marketing.

In her current role as director of corporate marketing, she is responsible for overall marketing strategy and operations and supporting the product and business group marketing objectives.

She is has a passion for supply chain technology, millennials in the workforce, and women in business.

Kait holds a bachelor’s degree from University of Denver and an International Master’s degree in Business from University of Denver. Kait also holds several certifications from MIT in Supply Chain, and is on her way to completing her MicroMasters from MIT Center for Transportation and Logistics.
